<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to correctly print only his own image file by preventing any other user's image file from being printed by mistake. <P>SOLUTION: This device 3 for reproducing the image of a data file DF transmitted from a data processor 4 connected through a communication line 6 is provided with a means 39 for inputting code information DU and UC to designate a data file stored in the data processor, a means for transmitting information to request the data file corresponding to the code information to the data processor, a means for receiving the data file from the data processor and a means for judging whether or not image reproducing conditions are arranged.
