<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiant tube internal state detecting mechanism securing favorable heat insulating performance to improve an energy saving effect, and capable of suppressing influence of heat distortion of a radiant tube. <P>SOLUTION: A cylinder part 9 for detection piercing a heat insulating material 7, with its tip side portion 25 drawn outside a furnace body 5 is provided in an extension passage 19 of the radiant tube 2. By providing the heat insulating material 7 pierced by the cylinder part 9 for detection, more favorable heat insulating performance is secured in the heat insulating material 7, heat dissipation to the outside of a furnace is suppressed, and for that portion, the energy saving effect can be improved in comparison with prior art causing heat dissipation to the outside of a furnace through a heat resistant cast steel box. In regard to heat distortion in the cylinder part 9 for detection, it is absorbed by movement via a slide mechanism 35, and it does not cause breakage of the cylinder part 9 for detection. Force generated in the cylinder part 9 for detection following the heat distortion of the radiant tube 2 is also absorbed by displacement of the cylinder part 9 for detection via the slide mechanism 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
