<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic in which a ceramic particle constituting a dielectric layer is made small-sized and even the thickness of grain boundary layer is controlled, a method for manufacturing the same, a multilayer electronic component having improved reliability in a high temperature load test and a humidity load test obtained by using the dielectric ceramic, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic is formed by bonding a plurality of ceramic particles A containing BaTiO<SB>3</SB>as a main component by the grain boundary phase B, wherein the standard deviation α1 of the particle diameter of the ceramic particle A is ≤0.013 and the standard deviation σ2 of the width of the grain boundary phase B is ≤0.15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
