<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time display device which calculates the local time at the receiving position, if necessary, and also displays other local information, by storing necessary minimum information such as an airport or a port to be the starting point of the travel, without using a local time coefficient table or a table storing fixed point information on a fixed position or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The time display device is provided with: a position detection part for detecting the position from the data received by a GPS receiver; a universal coordinated time calculation part for calculating the universal coordinated time from the received data; a time difference information storage part for storing positional information, a zone being set based on the positional information, the time difference between the zone and the universal coordinated time, and various kinds of zone information in the zone; a determination part for determining whether the position detected by the position detection part is within the zone being set based on the positional information; a time calculation part for calculating the time according to the determination result; and a display part for displaying the time calculated by the time calculation part, a flag for displaying the time correction status, and various kinds of zone information stored in the time difference information storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
