PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid probe and a primer, used for prediction of onset risk of juvenile Alzheimer's disease in a male.

SOLUTION: The nucleic acid molecule capable of detecting the mutation of a guanine (G) residue positioned at the 90th position of the eleventh intron into an adenine (A) residue in a human τ-gene contains a polynucleotide having the above mutation in the polynucleotide containing the above nucleotide sequence of the gene, or a nucleotide fragment hybridizing with the polynucleotide complementary to the polynucleotide.
