<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raincoat for a wheelchair, making it possible that a caregiver simply, easily, and rapidly puts the raincoat on a user of the wheelchair and takes it off in a short time, in the case of, especially, taking the user to and from daytime-care facility, sudden rainfall, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This raincoat for the wheelchair is formed out of a sheet main body 1 which is used for covering and wrapping the front and the back of the user 14 of the wheelchair 13 and has an approximately rectangular shape in the top view, wherein a circular opening part 4 through which the head part of the user 14 passes is bored in the main body in an area biased toward the back side, cut-off joint parts 6 are formed so as to continue from the opening part 4 to an end part of the sheet main body 1, a band-shaped taken-out part 7 is sewn on one of the joint parts 6 along it, one of halves of a hood 5 is sewn on the top side of the taken-out part and the other half is sewn on the opening part 4 of the sheet main body 1 so that the halves are integrated, and therefore the raincoat is used in such a manner that the joint parts 6 positioned at the back side are covered with the taken-out part 7, after the sheet main body 1 is put on the user 14 of the wheelchair 13 in a covering and wrapping manner, and then the head part of the user 14 is covered with the hood 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
