A device for the inhalation of medicaments in finely divided form is illustrated with reference to drawings accompanying the provisional specifications (see Fig. 1 in particular) and comprises a hollow elongate housing 1 having at both ends air passages and having one end B adapted for insertion into the mouth; and a propeller-like device 3 rotatably mounted in said housing on a rigid shaft 2, said propeller-like device also having a mounting means for a container for finely divided medicament 5 and further being so mounted on said shaft 2 that the passage of a stream of air (e.g. inspired air) causes not only rotational but also vibrational movement of the propeller-like device. The vibrational movement may be ensured 'by the choice of the appropriate relative dimensions of shaft 2 and its bearing. |
