PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string band for a frame of spectacles capable of coping with the end of the frame of spectacles having various sizes and shapes. SOLUTION: The string band comprises a string (2) hanging from a neck and holding tools (3) provided at both ends of the string so that the frame (4) of the spectacles may be inserted. A non through hole is provided on the holding tool in a longitudinal direction and also a through hole is provided in a direction crossing with the non through hole. The string band realizes the following using methods: (1) It is used by inserting the end of the frame of the spectacles in the non through hole of the holding tool in a linear direction. (2) The holding tool is attached to the frame of the spectacles in a direction crossing with the holding tool by utilizing the through hole.
