PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer hardly causing jamming capable of decreasing the number of component parts, and having excellent printing accuracy. SOLUTION: The printer 1 is equipped with a chassis 10, a printing part 50 installed on the chassis 10 and printing on a recording sheet of paper, a press roller 20 installed rotatably on the chassis 10, holding approximately a constant distance from the printing part 50 and pressing the recording sheet 100, a feed roller 30 installed rotatably on the chassis 10, movable in the directions going farther than the press roller 20 and approaching it and holding the recording sheet 100 in proximity to the press roller 20, and a spring 35 to energize the feed roller 30 toward the press roller 20. The chassis 10 has a guide part 11 extending between the press roller 20 and the feed roller 30 so as to guide the recording sheet 100. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
