PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dental adhesive composition which can quickly be hardened even in the presence of oxygen without using a radical generator like peroxide or photopolymerization initiator and give high bonding strength. SOLUTION: This dental adhesive composition contains in specific amounts: a carboxylic acid compound (A) having one (meta)acryloyl group and one carboxyl group, both of which attached to an aromatic ring; a specific bisphenol A derivative (B); and hydroxy alykyl (meta) acrylate (C); a (meta) acrylate derivative (D) with an acid group; and at least one kind of polymerization initiator (E) selected from among aromatic amines, aliphatic amines and aromatic sulfinic acids.
