<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation for changing the kind of a medium in each tray. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device has a medium kind acquisition means for acquiring the kinds of mediums on which an image is to be formed and for acquiring the kinds of mediums in a tray that are recorded from a recording section, a comparison means for judging whether the kinds of mediums acquired by the medium kind acquisition means coincide with each other, when the kind of a medium fails to coincide with each other, a setting change means to change the kinds of mediums on which an image acquired by the medium kind acquisition means is to be formed to the kinds of mediums recorded in the recording section. It is judged whether the kinds of mediums acquired by the medium kind acquisition means coincide with each other. When the kinds of mediums acquired by the medium kind acquisition means and the kinds of mediums coincide with each other, the setting of the kinds of mediums in the recording section is changed to the kinds of mediums acquired by the medium kind acquisition means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
