<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily impart antidazzle characteristic to antireflection coating in a manufacturing method for antidazzle antireflection coating used for optical purpose or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A hard coat layer 12 is formed by applying and drying a coating liquid in which particulates 12a are mixed on a transparent support 11 composed of cellulose triacetate. A middle refractive index layer 13a, a high refractive index layer 13b and a low refractive index layer 13c are applied and dried on the surface of the layer 12 so as to form an antireflection layer 13. The transparent support 11 to which the antireflection layer 13 and the layer 12 are applied is pressed by a press roller and a backup roll. By making a difference in plastic deformation amount according to the difference of material between the particulates 12a and binder 12b in the layer 12, fine irregularities 14 is formed on the surface of the antireflection coating 13. The antireflection coating having the fine irregularities is obtained by a coating method and a pressing method, and mass-production is realized to reduce cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
