<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antidazzle and antireflection film which has excellent durability and weatherability as a protective film and reduced color irregularity and a method for stably manufacturing the film at a low cost and a polarizing plate which is sufficiently prevented in mirroring-in of outdoor light, is highly durable and is good in tightness of black and an image forming apparatus utilizing them. <P>SOLUTION: The antidazzle and antireflection film has at least one antidazzle hard coating layer and at least one low-refractive index layer in this order on a transparent support, in which the antidazzle hard coating layer contains at least one kind each of translucent particles for imparting an antidazzle property thereto, a high-refractive index inorganic superfine particulate containing at least one kind of the element selected from cobalt, aluminum and zirconium of ≤100 nm in average grain size and composed of titanium dioxide as a principal component and a matrix, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
