DEVELOPMENT APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus and an image forming apparatus having a new configuration that a specified charge amount can be imparted to the toner without decreasing the carrying speed of the developer although the configuration is simple and that an image with high picture quality can be formed.

SOLUTION: The development apparatus has such configurations that: the developer is circulated and carried by a first stirring member, a second stirring member and a third stirring member which is disposed opposing to a part of the second stirring member; and the toner replenished through a toner supply port disposed on the cover of the housing into the opposing part of the second and third stirring members is submerged into the developer by rotation of the second and third stirring members rotated in such a manner that each circumference face moves from the upper side to the lower side. The image forming apparatus is equipped with the above developing apparatus.
