<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice data processing device and a voice data processing method that automatically give a voice data file a file name by which the content of the voice data file can be easily known by analogy. <P>SOLUTION: The voice data processing device comprises an operation and input part that inputs a command from a user, a voice data input part that inputs voice data, a voice data extraction part that extracts the voice data of a predetermined length from the voice data, a table storage part that stores a method for classification and a category for classifying the voice data beforehand, a voice data classification part that analyzes characteristics of the extracted voice data based on the classification method specified by the user through the operation and input part and specifies the category to which the voice data belong, a file name creating part that automatically creates a file name based on the category into which the voice data are classified, and a file name giving part that gives the file name to the voice data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
