<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectilinear juncture structure of an optical drop cable which is provided with an extra length treatment function and makes sufficient tension obtainable even if supporting wires are fixed in the state of being clad with resin coatings. <P>SOLUTION: The rectilinear juncture structure 11 of the optical drop cable 12 integrated with a coated optical fiber portion 16 and the supporting wires 17 is fixed to a connecting member 20 by respectively winding the ends of the supporting wires 17 on both sides to two bolts 24 attached to the connecting member 20 and tightening the same. Spiral tubes 21 are put on the respective supporting wires 17. A mechanical splice 22 connecting the optical fibers 13a on both sides to each other is turned around the connecting member 20 and the respective optical fibers 13a are spirally wound around the outer peripheries of the spiral tubes 21 and in this state the mechanical splice 22 is attached to a mechanical splice mounting section 23 of the connecting member 20.
