PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal apparatus which incorporates a protector into a casing side to obviate a vibration absorbing member or a speaker holding member, can be made thin, and in which the number of components and man-hour for assembly in production steps can be reduced. SOLUTION: A protector 5 which is provided on a frame 3 for holding a voice coil 2 of a speaker 1 to protect a diaphragm 4 on the surface of the voice coil 2, is fitted into a speaker mounting hole 11 bored on a casing 7 to close the speaker mounting hole 11, so that the speaker 1 is incorporated into on the casing 7.
