PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which prevents dust from affecting a solid state imaging device. SOLUTION: The digital camera comprises a photographing lens 110 aligned on an optical axis and composed of a front-group lens 111, a back-group lens 112, and a focal lens 113, and an aperture 102 in which the photographing lens 110 is accommodated and from which the photographing lens peeks out, at the front section. The digital camera also comprises a lens barrel 100 which extends and corrupts freely and conducts focus conditioning during extension, a CCD image sensor 120 for receiving object light formed by the photographing lens 110 to generate an image signal, and an tube 134 having apertures 134a and 134b at both ends and being elastic according to extension and corruption of the lens barrel 100. The aperture 134a is blocked by the focal lens 113, while the aperture 134b is blocked by a photographing unit including the CCD image sensor 120. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
