PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control apparatus for controlling application and interruption of power supply that realizes operations expected by a user when a remote control operation and a timer operation are used altogether. SOLUTION: In the power supply control apparatus for controlling application/interruption of power of a main power supply 15 to a load 16 via a switch section 13, a drive signal generating section 12 generates a drive signal to control ON/OFF of the switch section 13 on the basis of a start signal outputted from a start section 11, a standby power supply 14 supplies the operating power to the start section 11 and the drive signal generating section 12, a power failure monitoring section 17 generates a power application signal resulting from monitoring an output of the main power supply 15 and outputs the signal to the start section 11, and the start section 11 outputs a start signal on the basis of the application signal.
