PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the core of the conventional reactor is not able to secure a strong adhesive strength between the butted sections of laminated steel plates bonded to each other with a fixing adhesive due to the varnish adhering to the butted sections, and, in addition, is difficult to effectively suppress vibrations caused by the electromagnetic attracting force between the laminated steel plates. SOLUTION: The core 1 of the low-noise reactor is constituted by butting a plurality of laminated steel plates 11 impregnated with the varnish against each other directly or through a gap spacer 12 and bonding and fixing the butted surfaces 11a of the steel plates 11 with the fixing adhesive 16. In the reactor, the fixing adhesive 16 is packed and cured in the space between the butted surfaces 11a of the laminated steel plates 11 or between the steel plates 11 and the gap spacer 12 after the impregnated varnish adhering to the butted surfaces 11a is removed.
