PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-resistance liquid crystalline compound stabilized in the conductivity over a long period and to provide a low-voltage driven liquid crystalline organic semiconductor having high reliability and using the same liquid crystalline compound. SOLUTION: The liquid crystalline organic semiconductor has at least two or more electrodes. The liquid crystalline organic semiconductor has constitution formed mainly of a liquid crystalline compound having a molecule of a porphyrin compound and/or a phthalocyanine molecule represented by general formula (1) as at least one component of a liquid crystal layer.
