<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of surely preventing shortcut of reactant gas and securing a preferred electric power generation by a simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: A second seal member 56 is integrated with surface 18a and 18b of an anode-side metal separator 18. The second seal member 56 is provided with an outside seal 58a provided on the surface 18a of the anode-side metal separator 18. An inside seal 58b is provided at a point a predetermined distance inwardly apart from the outside seal 58.
