<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a optical pickup in which a means is provided for shifting a light beam in order to make the center of the light beam and the center of a movable objective lens always coincident with each other. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup is provided with: a laser diode which emits light beams; a collimating lens which receives the light beams emitted from the laser diode and makes the received light beams into parallel beams; an objective lens which condenses the parallel beams toward a disk; and an optical axis shifting device which is arranged in an optical path between the collimating lens and the objective lens and shifts an optical axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
