<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply device capable of preventing developer from staying in a developer supply port of the developer supply device, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the developer supply device. <P>SOLUTION: The toner supply device 30 is provided with a supporting member 32 for rotatably holding a toner container 31 while surrounding at least a recessed part forming area going around the outer peripheral surface along the rotating direction of the toner container 31 so as to include the recessed part having a discharge port, and is also equipped with a toner supply port for carrying the toner discharged into the recessed part through the discharge port to the outside. Also a scraper is attached so as to slide in the recessed part forming area when the toner container 31 is rotated; and for scraping the developer staying in the recessed part, while sliding the recessed part in the recessed part forming area is arranged in the developer supply port.
