<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device which reduces a crest factor and prevents a lamp from flickering and going out by suppressing a lamp current oscillation in dimming light for a low luminous flux, and can perform stable feedback control. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device comprises: a power converting section 1 which converts a DC power of a DC power source Vdc into a high frequency power by performing switching control of switching elements Q1, Q2 and supplies the high frequency power to a discharge lamp FL; and a feedback section 2 which compares a high frequency power output from the power converting section 1 with a reference value corresponding to a dimming ratio for the discharge lamp FL and adjusts a controlled variable of the switching control so as for the high frequency power output to coincide with the reference value, where the feedback section 2 has a error amplifier 3. A series circuit of a resistor R1 and a capacitor C1 is connected in parallel to an input resistor R3 of an operational amplifier OP forming the error amplifier 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
