摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starter of a fuel-cell automobile having superior in starting performance. <P>SOLUTION: The starter of a fuel-cell automobile determines the presence or absence of the starting possibility of a vehicle by a boarding prediction means that predicts the boarding of a driver (step S1); sets a starting possibility flag to an on-state (step S2), when there is the starting possibility (step S1:YES), and performs the initial check of safety confirmation or the like (step S3); and sets the starting flag into an on-state, when the result of the initial check is "positive" (step S3:YES) and performs warmup operation of a fuel cell system (step S4). Next, when a required load is present within a certain period (step S5:YES), the operation is shifted to normal operation (step S6).
