<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for distributing contents. <P>SOLUTION: The system and the method are for distributing storage type contents. Streaming contents can be broadcasted to a user's list. When the user wants to store specific contents, the specific contents of storage type may be distributed to the user's storage medium. Each user can be registered with a customizing service, in which the user's taste in contents is described, with registration by the user. The contents based on the user's taste can be broadcasted in a streaming content format to the user.
