<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device for a keyboard instrument which is capable of ensuring sufficient front-rear directional rigidity of chassis without making the keyboard device large while restricting right-left directional motion of hammers. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a plurality of chassis 2, a plurality of keys 3 and a plurality of hammers 4 which are arranged in the right-left direction, and a plurality of guide side walls 14 which are provided on the chassis 2 successively in the right-left direction at specified mutual intervals and adjacent two of which restrict right-left directional motion of corresponding hammers. At least one of the plurality of guide side walls 14 is removed from a chassis 2, which is further equipped with a rib 41 fitted extending in the front-rear direction passing the position where the guide side wall 14 is removed to reinforce the chassis 2 and cooperating with guide side walls 14 positioned on the right and left sides to restrict the right-left directional motion of the corresponding hammer 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
