<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device contributory to thoroughly protecting a rider in accident, and to provide a motorcycle therewith. <P>SOLUTION: On the motorcycle, the air bag device is mounted which has an air bag 122 and a long webbing 130 for linking the air bag 122 to the body side. The air bag 122 is deployed and inflated while being protruded toward a rider protection region 140 in frontal collision of the motorcycle. When the air bag 122 is completely deployed and inflated, the webbing 130 embraces the air bag 122 at its front body side from its rear body side via an extension part 131 abutting on the outer face of a front side panel structural cloth 125b for restricting the movement of the air bag 122 to the front body side with the tension of the webbing 130 while allowing the movement of the air bag 122 to the direction of its protrusion in the process of deploying and inflating the air bag 122. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
