PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor wherein its motor is efficiently cooled in a compact structure. SOLUTION: The in-wheel motor is equipped with the motor 60, a shaft 110, an oil pump l20, and oil passages 140, 150, and 160. The oil pump 120 is provided at one end of the shaft 110. The motor 60 includes a stator core 61, a stator coil 62, and a rotor 63. The oil pump 120 pumps up oil from an oil reservoir 130 via an oil passage 140, and supplies the pumped-up oil to the oil passages 150 and 160. The oil passage 160 supplies the oil from the oil pump 120 from an opening end 160A to the periphery of the stator core 61 of the motor 60. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
