PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone set wherein mainly mental attitude over telephone conversation is made in advance. SOLUTION: When an IP telephone set 60 or an ordinary phone machine 70 is telephoned by using an IP telephone set 10, if destination of telephone conversation is the IP telephone set 60, an IP address of the destination of the telephone conversation is transmitted from a number conversion server 80. In the IP telephone set 10, it identifies that the destination of the telephone conversation is the IP telephone set based on the IP address which is transmitted from the number conversion server 80, and a marker showing that the destination of the telephone conversation is the IP telephone set is recorded in a phone book 20a which is constituted on a memory 20 of the IP telephone set 10. As a result, it can know in advance whether a destination of the telephone conversation is an IP telephone set by referring to the marker displayed on the phone book in the case of telephoning the IP telephone set 60 after next time.
