PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product design support server, etc. for supporting product design with conformity about specification taken into consideration. SOLUTION: The design support server 3 is equipped with a DB which associates and stores classification of a product, information about a sales area and specification information and a DB which associates and stores the specification information and test information. The design support server 3 receives basic information including the classification of the product to be designed and the information about the sales area from a terminal 1 of a person in charge of design, reads the specification information corresponding to the basic information from the DB, reads the test information corresponding to the specification information from the DB and transmits the read specification information and test information to the terminal 1 of the person in charge of design. The design support server 3 receives actual measurement data from the terminal 1 of the person in charge of design about a test indicated by the read test information, determines whether the actual measurement data satisfies an acceptability criterion by comparing the actual measurement data with acceptability criteria data included in the read test information and transmits a determination result to the terminal 1 of the person in charge of design.
