PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high potential by charging and high sensitivity, ensuring no change of various properties even after repeated use, and capable of exhibiting stable performance. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor obtained by disposing a single photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generating material and a hole transport material on a conductive substrate, a specified phthalocyanine is used as the charge generating material and a compound having a specified structure is used as the hole transport material.
