PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire failure alarming device having an enhanced detection accuracy for a tire failure, and a pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: The tire failure alarming device gives an alarm by detecting a failure of the tire based on the signal detected by a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of a pneumatic tire 10. A tire mounting unit 1 having the temperature sensor, an antenna, and a transmitting section is buried at least in the neighborhood of edge portions 14a, 16a of tire composing members 14, 16 arranged inside the pneumatic tire 10.
