PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety display device of a crossing gate allowing an easy installation on an existing crossing gate bar and having excellent reliability without lowering recognizability from the outside by many times repeat of elevating and lowering of the crossing gate bar. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a plurality of cylinder bodies 10 connectable with each other and having inner diameters equal or larger to/than an outer diameter of the crossing gate bar B, a plurality of light emitting means 11 arranged at prescribed intervals over the peripheral directions of the cylinder bodies 10 and allowing recognition of lighting or flickering states from the outside, a connector 12 capable of electrically connecting the light emitting means 11 between each of the cylinder bodies 10, and a control means 20 for making the light emitting means 11 light according to lowering of the crossing gate bars mounted with the cylinder bodies 10.
