PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejector in which clogging of a liquid ejection head can be prevented. SOLUTION: A recording head 20 having a nozzle opening surface 20a, and a cap 23 for sealing the nozzle opening surface 20a are provided in the printer body. The cap 23 is connected with a discharge tube 26 interconnecting the inside and outside of the cap 23. The discharge tube 26 is made of a rubber material mixed with EPDM and IIR by injection molding.
