<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stack case allowing efficient ventilation. <P>SOLUTION: This stack case 5 has, in a corner part inside the stack case 5, a columnar part 6 including a ventilating flow passage 16 communicating with a space inside the stack case 5 thereinside and having an outer side face of a projecting arc surface toward the inside of the stack case 5. An axial direction of the columnar part 6 is formed with a hole 7 penetrating the ventilation flow passage 16, and the ventilation flow passage is configured such that fuel gas flows upward from below along external manifolds 2b, 2d. When the columnar part 6 stores the stack 1, a wire 3 wound from the outside of the external manifold 2 of a side face of the stack 1 contacts with the surface of the columnar part 6.
