PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cavity probing method by which the probe is carried out rapidly and accurately at a low cost. SOLUTION: A drilling machine is introduced into an underground structure above which a cavity is considered to be found. Drilling data by the drilling machine is collected while the underground is drilled by a bit of a rod tip of the drilling machine, and a bore hole camera is inserted into the drilled hole to collect developed-image data of a hole wall. A cavity criterion is prepared based on a comparison between the drilling data and the developed-image data of the hole wall. Then in a place other than the drilled place, the drilling data by the drilling machine is analyzed and the cavity is probed for on the basis of the criterion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
