PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to hygienically and simply collect excrement in a easy posture while a person goes for a walk with a dog, even when the dog defecates twice or three times, and to easily conduct after treatment without giving an unpleasant feeling in appearance, nor an unpleasant feeling caused by its odor, to surrounding people. SOLUTION: This portable excrement collector is contrived so that the person can go for a walk with the dog by gripping a handle 9, after setting a plastic bag 12 to the collector, positioning an opening part of the bag in a groove 5, fastening the bag with a plastic bag fastening tool 10, and then attaching a cover 2 thereto. When collects the excrement, the person slightly presses a side surface of the cover 2 by the hand, so as to remove the cover 2 which is fixed by a protrusion 3 of an outer frame 1, then nips and collects the excrement 28 by opening a cage part 4 with an opening and closing lever 7. Further, the person attaches the cover 2 to the outer frame 1, so that the unpleasant feeling in the appearance and the unpleasant feeling caused by the odor are removed. When the dog defecates again or on the three time, the person collects the second or the third excrement after fixing the excrement already collected by a protrusion 11 positioned in the cage part. Because the excrement is received in the bag, the person can simply take the excrement out of the bag and dispose of it, after comes home. The methods stated in the claims 2 and 3 comprise preliminarily attaching a plurality of the plastic bags to the collector, so that the person can close each of the openings of the plastic bags and receives the excrement in the excrement collector at every time when the excrement is collected, and therefore the feeling in the appearance becomes good and the odor is completely eliminated.
