RADIO/INFRARED CONVERSION REPEATER AND METHOD IN PUBLIC WIRELESS LAN SERVICE AREA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure communication between a wireless LAN terminal at an access point in a public wireless LAN service area and a mobile phone even if they are separated by a considerable distance from each other by arranging a plurality of radio/infrared conversion repeaters in serial. SOLUTION: A radio/infrared conversion repeater is provided between a wireless LAN terminal at an access point and a mobile phone in a hot spot.
