PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device that can suppress a current peak generated in timing right after the start of writing operation, has a large writing operation margin, and is reliable. SOLUTION: An MRAM which employs a constant-current write system is equipped with constant-current circuits 13-1 and 13-2 for writing which are connected to a 1st power source Vcc and switch circuit groups 12-1 and 12-2 which are connected thereto and selectively drive write wires WL1 and WL2, and short-circuits one of nodes at both ends of the switch circuit group, the power source to which the constant-current circuits are connected, and one of nodes at both ends of the switch circuit group.
