PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the width of blindfold frame part without spoiling characteristics. SOLUTION: A front panel 5 provided with the blindfold frame part 12 surrounding an effective display area P is combined with a frame member 6 stored with a display panel body 4. A U-shaped panel holder member 9 holding the internal surface of the front panel 5, a back cover member 7, and the frame member 6 are extended to the back of the display panel body 4 and coupled at a fitting part 17 formed on the frame member 6 to reduce the width of the blindfold frame part 12 blindfolding the coupling section.
