PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner which does not give rise to a low-temperature offset in spite of high-speed fixing and is excellent in fixing performance from a low-temperature region to a high-temperature region. SOLUTION: The toner is used in an image forming apparatus equipped with a developing device for visualizing the electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrier by developing the toner and a fixing device consisting of a pressure roller and a heating roller. The magnetic toner is used for high-speed fixing of 300 to 450 mm/sec in peripheral speed of a fixing roller and contains at least a binder resin composed of a polyester resin as a principal component, magnetic powder and wax. The mean circularity of the toner particles is 0.95 to 0.96 and the wax contains wax of two components of 70 to 85°C and 130 to 150°C in endothermic peaks in differential thermal analysis.
