PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater intrusion preventive device for an elevator doorway capable of preventing the rainwater from splashing over the passengers at the time of getting on. SOLUTION: The rainwater intrusion preventive device for the elevator doorway is equipped with a car door mounted on an elevator car to be installed outdoors, a hall door mounted on the hall side in such a way as operating in linkage with the car door, a rainwater gutter installed over the doorway on the hall side, and a shield plate installed over the doorway on the car side and bridging over to the gutter when the car door is opened so as to block the gap with respect to the hall door, wherein the shield plate leads the rainwater splashing over the car to the gutter.
