PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic apparatus and an opening screen displaying method which change an opening screen for each operation mode. SOLUTION: A plurality of items of digital image data each corresponding to any one of a plurality of predetermined operation modes are previously stored in a memory card 52. When power is tuned on, a CPU 40 reads the digital image mode corresponding to the predetermined operation mode from the memory card 52, and an image indicated by the digital image data is displayed as an opening screen on a liquid crystal display 38.
