PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam nozzle for fiber drawing, designed to suppress damage on a traveling yarn due to yarn fluctuation and fretting in carrying out a steam drawing for the purpose of drawing unevenness amelioration, and suppress the stains of peripheral equipment and the final product due to scattered steam. SOLUTION: A hot-drawing machine for thermoplastic synthetic fiber is provided, comprising a filament yarn heating unit(3) for heating a filament yarn(Y) of thermoplastic synthetic fiber in a traveling condition and a drawing unit for drawing the filament yarn(Y) at a prescribed magnification. In this machine, the filament yarn heating unit(3) is such that both ends thereof are provided respectively with an entrance(3e) and an exit(3f) through which the filament yarn(Y) travels during drawing, and comprises a heating box(3a) with a space(3d) through which the filament yarn(Y) travels inside, a steam feed port(3g) provided so as to subject superheated unsaturated steam to cocurrent flow in the advancing direction of the filament yarn(Y) in the space(3d), and a steam discharge port(3g).
