A syringe needle melting apparatus wherein a syringe needle is melted more safely and more surely while preventing a leakage of an odor. A space in a float guide assembly (11) having a float (4) for guiding a syringe needle, a space in a roller electrode assembly (12) wherein the syringe needle is melted with roller electrodes (18) and (19), and a space in a dust box (51) for receiving the refuse are made to communicate with each other in an air-tight manner. Air is sucked from the dust box (51) through a filter (52) by an air pump. This suction begins before the melting is started and ends after the melting is finished.
