<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output image of high image quality having banding suppressed without constructing a recording head by a large scale in an image forming device which can form a plurality of ink of different color material concentrations and a plurality of dots of different discharge amounts. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming device of a recording apparatus which carries out recording by moving, relatively to a recording medium, the recording head with a plurality of recording elements arranged in a predetermined direction, the recording head can form recording agents of two or more kinds of different recording amounts for at least one color recording agent. Moreover, the recording head is equipped with recording agents of two or more kinds of different color material concentrations for at least one same color type.
