<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion analysis device which calculates the standard shape being a reference on analyzing shape displacement of an organ and makes quantitative analysis of temporal response of the shape displacement possible regarding medical image analysis technology. <P>SOLUTION: The motion analysis device is provided with an image input part 101 which inputs time series images including the organ, a contour extraction part 103 which extracts contours of the organ by time series, a standard contour shape generation part 104 which calculates the standard contour shape from a plurality of contours extracted by time series, a shape displacement calculation part 105 which calculates difference in the shapes between the standard contour shape and contour of an extracted temporary phase and a displacement output part 106 which outputs time series change of the shape displacement. Thus, appropriate quantitative analysis of the temporal change of the shape displacement becomes possible by calculating the standard contour shape and considering it as reference even in the organ which performs various kinds of displacement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
