<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for performing transmitting and receiving e-mail, which can transmit information as much as possible by the e-mail with a limited number of receiving characters. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, it is detected in a line feed detection part 421 that whether or not a line feed designation code is included in an e-mail received by a communication part 41, and the number of characters of the e-mail is detected in a character number detection part 422 when the line feed designation code is detected. When the result of the detection by the character number detection part 422 exceeds an upper limit of character number, the line feed designation code is deleted to form an e-mail having no line feed in a mail formation part 423, and this e-mail is transmitted to a receiver side through the communication part 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
